Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReelDancers.com and the ReelDancers platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ReelDancers is a portfolio platform for competitive and professional dancers. It gives each dancer one shareable link that holds reels, competition results, training history, and achievements.

1. Who can use ReelDancers

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Portfolios for dancers under 13 must be created and managed by an adult account holder, such as a parent, guardian, or manager. If you create or manage a portfolio for a dancer who is a minor, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that you are responsible for the content of that portfolio.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

An account may be linked to more than one person (for example, a dancer and a manager). Everyone with access to an account is bound by these Terms.

3. Your content

"Your content" means everything you add to your portfolio: your display name, biography, training and competition history, performance and choreography credits, photos, videos, links, and any other material you upload or enter.

You keep ownership of your content. By adding it to the Service, you grant ReelDancers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service, including showing your published portfolio to the public at your chosen link. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content that has already been shared publicly and copied by others, and for reasonable backup copies that age out over time.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload. Do not upload photos, videos, or other material unless you own them or have permission to use them. Because portfolios often include images and video of minors, take particular care that you have the right to publish any person shown in your content and that publishing it is appropriate.

4. Public portfolios and visibility

When you publish your portfolio, it becomes publicly accessible at your chosen URL. You control which sections and individual fields are shown publicly, shown only in your PDF resume, or kept private. Unpublishing your portfolio immediately replaces the public page with a private placeholder.

An optional PIN lock lets you require a numeric code to view your published portfolio page. The PIN protects the portfolio page itself. It does not individually restrict direct links to media files. Choose what you publish accordingly.

Your chosen link is assigned to you while your account is active. We may reclaim or reassign a link that infringes someone else's rights, impersonates another person, or violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

We may remove content or suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or puts other people at risk.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed on an annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. The price of each plan is shown at checkout and on our pricing page. We store only a customer reference for billing purposes and do not store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account or through the billing portal. When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the current paid term and does not renew after that.

Payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused time, or plan features you did not use. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not refund a charge already made. This does not limit any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may change the prices we offer or the features included in a plan. We will make reasonable efforts to let you know of a material change to a plan you are subscribed to.

7. Invite codes and promotional access

From time to time we offer invite codes, founding-member spots, or other promotional grants that provide free or discounted access. These are offered at our discretion and may carry their own conditions. Access granted under a valid promotional code will be honored for as long as that grant remains in effect. Promotional grants are personal to the account that redeemed them, are not transferable, and have no cash value.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties to function, including Stripe for payment processing and Cloudflare for content delivery and video streaming. Your use of those parts of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on how information is handled.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service itself, including the ReelDancers name, brand, design, page templates, and software, belongs to ReelDancers and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use the ReelDancers name or branding except as needed to use the Service normally. Nothing here transfers ownership of your own content to us.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your portfolio content, subject to the backup and public-copy exceptions noted above.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practical, we will give you notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, such as content licenses already granted to the public, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will always be available. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important to you. A data export tool is available in your account for this purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelDancers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelDancers from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of content you upload, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of the rights of another person.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
