Privacy Policy

ReelDancers.com is a portfolio platform for competitive and professional dancers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We also store your IP address at login to help detect unauthorized access.
Portfolio content. Any information you add to your portfolio is stored on our servers: display name, date of birth, location, home studio, agency, contact details, physical attributes, biography, dance training, competition results, performance credits, and an Instagram handle. You control what is visible on your public portfolio and what remains private.
Media files. Cover photos, profile photos, and gallery photos are stored on our servers. Dance videos are uploaded directly to and streamed from Cloudflare Stream.
Usage data. We collect basic analytics about how the platform is used (pages visited, features used). See Third-party services below.
Early access requests. If you submit your email on our landing page we store your name, email, and optional Instagram handle in order to send you an invite.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and portfolio
- To send transactional emails (invite codes, password resets, schedule reminders)
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To understand how the platform is used and improve it
- To contact you about your account if needed
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails beyond the initial invite unless you have an active account.
Your portfolio and public visibility
When you publish your portfolio it becomes publicly accessible at your chosen URL. You control which sections and individual fields are shown publicly, shown only in your PDF resume, or kept private. Unpublishing your portfolio immediately replaces the public page with a private placeholder.
Dancers under 13 are not permitted to create accounts directly. An adult account holder (a parent or guardian) must manage their portfolio.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare - CDN and video streaming. Traffic to ReelDancers.com passes through Cloudflare's global network. Videos are stored and served by Cloudflare Stream. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Stripe - Payment processing. If you subscribe, your payment details are handled directly by Stripe. We store only a customer reference ID, not your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics 4 - We use GA4 to understand how the platform is used. This may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data. Google Privacy Policy
- Microsoft Clarity - Session analytics. Clarity records anonymized interaction data (clicks, scrolls) on the manage dashboard to help us improve the user experience. Microsoft Privacy Statement
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may set additional cookies for analytics purposes. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention
Your account and portfolio data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile content is removed. Logs and anonymized analytics data may be retained for a longer period for security and operational purposes.
Your rights
You can update or delete information in your portfolio at any time from your dashboard. To request deletion of your account or a copy of your data, contact us at the address below. If you are based in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data.
Children
Accounts are only created by people 13 or older. Portfolios for dancers under 13 are managed by an adult account holder. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
